Ewer is a duo of sound designers and and musicians Ivan Merkulov and Sophia Zhuravkova. We are working with sound textures, field recordings and ambient compositions. The main concept of ewer as well as the meaning of the word ewer( ontologically comes from the French eau - water) is to convey eternal exchange, tranquility, form-shifting nature of things and inevitability of change.
