Krama Festival
Live Stream
KRAMA Festival returns for its sixth year, this time with a week-long series of events across different locations in the city. Culminating on May 31st at PLYFA, this year’s edition aims to highlight the experimental and groundbreaking intersections between sound, image, movement, and community. Start from what you know: in a world shaped by divisive narratives, KRAMA seeks to create an inclusive platform with shared values - one that experiments and challenges the boundaries of coexistence and collaboration through music and visual arts. This year’s program features live music, DJ sets, site-specific performances, visual installations, and DIY workshops presented throughout the week at four different venues, with 25+ participating artists. In this year's edition Krama invited artists who explore and challenge the limits of Western music, incorporating diverse instrumentation, bold arrangements, and unusual structures. We find meaning in questioning norms, and embracing discomfort as a space for dialogue or transformation. Through this process, Krama defines its vision of the contemporary and the experimental - a practice rooted in co-creation, inclusivity, and the interplay of mediated curation with spontaneous experimentation.
